About us
Annas Dravas is a family run business in Latvia - Iecava Municipality - Dimzu kalns. Beekeeper Anna was thinking for a long time about starting beekeeping, and in 2014 Anna bought her first 5 beehives as a hobby to understand if she could do it, and at the moment in 2025 there are already 100 beehives in Annas Dravas.
Beekeeper Anna manages to establish a relationship with the bees and so much honey are made, that we cannot eat it all ourselves. With the encouragement and good words of relatives and friends, beekeeper Anna creates a label for the honey and goes to the first farmers' market. The honey is given the name - Annas Drava.
Beekeeping turns out to be a whole science, so beekeeper Anna attends courses and gains knowledge that helps Annas Dravas grow and develop. Anna has gained knowledge in Latvia, Lithuania and Ukraine about apitherapy (treatment with bee products) and medicinal plants. Our bee colonies are located far away from agricultural land, so our honey is ecologically clean and tasty- organic.
Almost all organic tea leave plants are collected in forest meadows that are near from our beehives in middle of forest.
We are very proud of our Annas Dravas honey and bee products.
